Project objectives
The following project objectives have been established for The Hub regeneration area.
- Identify the opportunities to cater for the projected increase in retail expenditure in the town centre, which is expected to grow to around £900m by 2016
- Provide the environmental quality and range of shopping and leisure that is needed to create an exciting destination
- Put Swindon into the top 50 retail centres in the UK
