Project objectives
The following project objectives have been established for The Promenade regeneration area.
- Provide Swindon with new and improved cultural and higher education facilities that will improve people's access and choice in an area closely related to, and integrated with, the civic, retail and commercial parts of the town centre
- Create the setting for restaurants, cafés, speciality shops and other leisure activities
- Develop an environment that encourages existing creative activities and businesses to flourish and new ones to evolve
