Site ownership
The Exchange comprises land currently in a number of ownerships, specifically English Partnerships, South West of England Regional Development Agency and Swindon Borough Council (The New Swindon Company's partners).
Some 6.5 hectares of the 7.1 hectares redevelopment area are in the ownership of these three organizations. A collaboration Agreement is in place which sets a framework through which the proposed development will be secured.
Negotiations are nearing completion on the ownership of the Swindon Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Salavation Army Housing Association (SAHA). The PCT are expected to relocate in The Exchange, details of thier requirements are available for the short listed developers.
