Swindon is now getting noticed by the property industry and property press
Swindon has had a good year, which is not a sentence that has been written much in the last 10 years. In October and November, Modus held public consultations about its plans to develop Regent Place, a mixed-use scheme near Regent Street on the site of the Granville Street car park.
However, the best evidence of Swindons renewed fortunes was a party, held on Tuesday in London, by The New Swindon Company. The guests included some of the shortlisted developers for the £300m mixed-used redevelopment of The Exchange regeneration area of the town.
