- The New Swindon Company appoints Planning Manager
News
The New Swindon Company has appointed Richard Crutchley as its Planning Manager to support the implementation of the major projects for the regeneration of the town centre.
Richard, who joins the company from Swindon Borough Council where he was a Senior Planner, has extensive planning and design experience. Peter Andrews, Chief Executive of The New Swindon Company, said, "I am delighted to welcome Richard to the team. In this newly-created role as Planning Manager, Richard will play a key role interfacing with developers and the local authority as we move forward with regeneration initiatives."
Richard Crutchley commented, "This is a very exciting time to be joining The New Swindon Company. Following the announcement of the major projects earlier this year, we can now move forward on priority areas. There is obviously a great deal of work to be done in developing proposals for the areas before any changes can happen and this will be the subject of public participation. We would hope to be in a position during 2005 to encourage public consultation in at least one priority project area."
