Long list announced for The Exchange

The New Swindon Company and its Partners are delighted to announce that they have long listed 9 developers and invited them to submit outline particulars for The Exchange site in Swindon.

Advised by CB Richard Ellis, The New Swindon Company and its Partners are seeking to bring forward a mixed use, prime office area combining high quality, innovative urban living with an attractive retail core.

The 7.1 hectare site falls within The New Swindon Company's regeneration framework, which aims to add 969,000 sq ft of offices, more than 1million sq ft of retail and leisure and 3,000 new homes by 2016.

A short list will be announced in July, with the assessment process culminating in The New Swindon Company and its Partners selecting their preferred development partner by mid December 2006.
